This variety was discovered on the 2005 (D) Minnesota State Quarter, part of the State Quarters 1999-2008 series. Die markers: Stage "C", obverse is LDS – a die crack is seen in the ribbon holding Washington's queue, terminating just above the second L of DOLLAR. Reverse is LDS – a die crack is seen from the Minnesota map's left edge to the rim. This die was found by Albert Niles Sr.
