Description
Doubling shows on the left side of the 7th column to the right of the statue’s lower legs. Die Markers: Obverse: A die gouge is present centered above I and B in LIBERTY. Reverse: A die gouge touches the lower right side of the N in CENT. Several small die gouges can be found to the right of the T in CENT. A die gouge is present centered above R and I in AMERICA touching the rim. A die gouge is present centered below D in UNITED and the first S in STATES at the level of the bottom of E in EPU. A die gouge is present between the lower aspect of C and the second A in AMERICA.
