Description
Doubling shows on the central right side of the 6th column to the left of the upper statue. Die Markers: Obverse: EDS. A small die gouge (dot) touches the right side of B of LIBERTY just below center. A small die gouge (dot) is present under the right side of the left upright of N of IN. A small die gouge (dot) is present southeast of the lower tip of the first 9 of the date. Two small die gouges (dots) are present just above and just below the left side of the third 9 of the date. Reverse: A die scratch runs SW/NE in the center of the third memorial bay. A long die scratch runs SSE from E in STATES through the right side of the first U in PLURIBUS to between the upper N and U in UNUM. A small die gouge (dot) is present just southwest of E in CENT. Small die gouges (dots) are present just right and left of the top of the twelfth memorial column.
