Within the remarkably deep reverse doubled die census for the 1999 Lincoln Memorial cent, DDR-013 presents medium spread with a slight counterclockwise rotation, manifesting as an extra column number 7 in the memorial facade — specifically visible from the seated Lincoln figure's hand down to the ankle level — along with an extra foot appearing between the figure's two feet. Frank Gasparro's Lincoln Memorial reverse, depicting the seated president visible through the central opening, provides the columned architectural framework where phantom column varieties register most clearly against the regular spacing of the colonnade.
