Description

1992D-1DER-011T is a 1992 Denver cent (1992D, 1) with a reverse design extension (DER), file 011, trail type T, and its trails go two ways. The stronger set heads northwest at 320°, coming from the left-side letters of E PLURIBUS UNUM, the first S of STATES, UNITED, the cornice's left corner, the upper left corners of the left columns, the stylobate's left corners and ONE's N and E. The weaker set runs at 080°, just north of east, from MERI in AMERICA, the right corners of the roof, cornice and stylobate, the designer's initials and CENT. TrailDies' coin is in a late-middle die state, with a gouge under the G of GOD and a small one high in bay 11. Eric Oberg of California found it. Most attribute trails to polishing of the die with a rotary tool; some blame die-to-hub movement.
