Description
Two set of trail lines are seen on this dual directional trail die. The first and strongest set has trail lines (with black arrows) from the left side letters in EPU, The first S in STATES the word UNITED the left corner of the cornice the top left corners of the left side columns, the left corners of the stylobate and the N and E of ONE. The offset direction for this set of trails is 320 degrees. The second and weaker set has trail lines (with white arrows) from the MERI of AMERICA, the right corner of the roof, the right corner of the cornice, the right corners of the stylobate, the designer’s initials and the word CENT. The offset direction of this set is 080 degrees.
Die Markers
- Stage “B “, obverse is LMDS – a die gouge is seen under the G of GOD.
- Reverse is LMDS – a small die gouge is seen in the upper part of bay 11.
