Description
Strong fluting line extension, into the stylobate under columns 1, 2 and 3. Strong step deviation, with an offset direction of 180 degrees, with emphasis on the left, under columns 5 through 8. This die was found by Bill Slaughter of Arkansas. DIE MARKERS : Stage “B”, obverse is MDS, – die gouge under the B and over the R of LIBERTY. Reverse is MDS – die gouge in the loop of the R in AMERICA. Die gouge in the middle of bay 4.
