Description
A Class I CW shows on USA, the torch flame, the upper olive leaves and branches, the upper oak leaves and branches, E PLU, UNUM, and ONE DIME. Die Markers: Obverse Stage A: A light SSW/NNE die scratch can be found to the left of the one in the date. Obverse Stage B: The Stage A die scratch is gone. A short, vertical die scratch can be found near the rim south of the designer’s initials. Reverse Stage A: A light die scratch runs SSW from the bottom right of the second U in PLURIBUS. A die scratch runs SSW from the bottom left of the N in UNUM. Reverse Stage B: Light, nearly vertical die scratches can be found between the upper most olive leaves and the top of the torch.
