1969 Doubled Die Obverse WDDO-003

Description

A strong CW spread shows on the 9 in the date. Die Markers: Obverse: A die gouge can be found between the R and U in TRUST. A die scratch runs WSW from the bottom of the I of IN. Reverse: A strong die scratch runs from SW to NE through the center of the E in ONE. Two die scratches running SE from the center right side of the N in CENT meet at a point between the lower N and T. A long die scratch runs NW from the top left of the N in CENT. A strong die scratch runs from WNW to ESE through the lower 1st column and the 1st bay.
