Positioned on one of the more subtle design elements of the Roosevelt Dime, this 1963 DDR-022 shows medium spread on the lower left flame of the torch — the feature that rises from the torch held in the hand of Liberty on John R. Sinnock's reverse design. VarietyVista cataloged the die under UVC-421 with die marker reference DMR-028, documenting three stages of die wear. Stage A at early die state remains unconfirmed, Stage B records both the reverse and obverse at mid-die state, and Stage C at late die state also awaits confirmed examples.
