Description
Class II, Distorted Hub Doubling "Best Of" Nickel Doubled Die VarietiesA strong spread toward the center shows on IN GOD WE TRUST. Doubling also shows on the hair at the top of the front of Jeffersons head, his nose, the front of his collar, and slightly on LIBERTY, the star and the date. Die Markers: Obverse: Die scratch on bottom back of bust, short die crack at top of Jefferson's hair at 12 oclock. Reverse: Listed as 1953 5c WDDR-002.
