Description
This 1949 (D) Jefferson Nickel repunched mint mark, WRPM-008, is cataloged by Wexler (doubleddie.com) as 1949-D 5¢ WRPM-008. The mint mark is D/D tilted (rotated). Obverse die markers: parallel SSW-NNE die scratches to the left of the upper lip, with a small die gouge (dot) in the same area. Reverse: a small die gouge (dot) between the upper C and E of CENTS.
