Description

A CCW spread from a pivot at about 10:00 shows on IGWT, LIBERTY, the lower queue, the designer’s initials, and the date. Master die doubling shows on the underside of the nose and on Washington’s lower ear.Die Markers: Obverse: A die scratch parallel to the rim runs through the lower part of all four digits in the date. A die scratch runs east from the upper B in LIBERTY. Reverse: A die scratch runs SSW at the joint of the eagle’s inner and outer wing feathers.Submitted By: Whaden CurtisCross References: None known Obverse: A die crack runs east across the upper forehead and into the hair.
