Description

A CCW spread from a pivot at 9:00 shows on LIBERTY, the date, the designer’s initials, the bottom of the ribbon, and slightly on WE.Die Markers: Obverse: Curving die scratches can be found below the E in WE. A short die gouge runs SW from the bottom left corner of the D in UNITED. Reverse: Two parallel die scratches run NE from the lower part of the branch end to the right of the mint mark. A die scratch runs NE from the lower part of the branch end to the left of the mint mark.Submitted By: Tony RussoCross References: None known Obverse: A small die gouge can be found to the right of the lower I in LIBERTY. A die crack runs across the base of the bust through the lower queue on the right and into the field to the left. A die crack runs E/W through the hair above the forehead. Reverse: A die crack runs through the RIBUS of PLURIBUS and down the upper part of the eagle’s left wing. A die crack runs down the outer part of the eagle’s right wing. Obverse:
