The 1942-S Repunched Mintmark RPM-015 is a repunched mint mark variety of the United States nickel. This variety was discovered on the 1942 (S) Jefferson Nickel - Wartime Silver Alloy, part of the Jefferson Nickels Original Design 1938-2003 series. Die markers: UVC-512 DMR-016 Stage A: EDS (unconfirmed) Stage B: Light die crack from E of MONTICELLO through E of CENTS to rim at K-6 – MDS Light die crack from Right dome South through pillar # 3 to C of MONTICELLO Die crack Northwest through hair – MDS Stage C: LDS (unconfirmed).
