The 1942-S Repunched Mintmark RPM-014 is a repunched mint mark variety of the United States nickel. This variety was discovered on the 1942 (S) Jefferson Nickel - Wartime Silver Alloy, part of the Jefferson Nickels Original Design 1938-2003 series. Die markers: UVC-468 DMR-015 Stage A: EDS (unconfirmed) Stage B: MDS (unconfirmed) Stage C: Die crack South from rim through S of PLURIBUS to dome – LDS Die crack South from center of dome to steps between pillar # 3 and # 4 Die crack from steps South to rim through C of MONTICELLO and E of CENTS Die crack across upper hair – LDS Die crack across bust.
