Description
1941 WDDO-006 is a doubled die obverse on the 1941 Washington quarter, cataloged by the Wexler team. On IN GOD WE TRUST, a very close spread runs north. On the obverse, a scratch heads SSW off the tip of the nose, parallel scratches run SW off the I in LIBERTY, from its left side, and left of the R in LIBERTY there is a small gouge. On the reverse, a crack links the eagle's head with its upper right wing, running ENE, and a scratch heads west off the upper part of the first S in STATES. Kevin Flynn submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
