Description

S/S Tilted (Rotated) Die Markers: Obverse: Numerous mostly north to south die scratches throughout the fields on the obverse. Heavy NNW to SSE die scratches left of and through the date running toward Lincoln’s chin. Small die gouge (dot) above 3 in date. Reverse: Die crack running from south of O in ONE up through the O and into the first U in PLURIBUS. Die crack running from the middle of E in ONE northwest into right side of the second U in PLURIBUS. Die crack running through the lower NUM in UNUM. Die crack running north from the rim at 4:30 through the right side of the wheat grains toward the tip. Die chips in middle of right wheat grain crack. Die cracks running north through the left wheat grains toward the tip.
