Description

Obverse Stage A: Die Markers: Obverse Stage A: N/S die scratch in the field west of the shoulder. N/S die scratch in the field behind the date. N/S die scratches through the date and left of the date. Die gouges at the letters of IGWT. Obverse Stage B: All stage A scratches abraded away except weaker gouges showing at IGWT. Obverse Stage C: Die gouge ENE from the N of IN to the rim. Reverse Stage A: Die crack from the right upper side of the C in CENT, through the O in ONE and through the horizontal bar of the L in PLURIBUS. Light die crack along the left wheat grains of the right wheat ear. Light die crack on the upper left wheat grains of the left wheat ear. Die gouge left of the horizontal bar of the T in CENT. Reverse Stage B: Heavier cracks on the wheat grains. Die cracks from the C of CENT extends lightly south from the C and to the rim. Reverse Stage C: Chips on the die cracks of the right wheat ear. Weak gouge at the T of CENT.
