Description

A CW spread from a pivot at about 12:00 shows on the date.Die Markers: Obverse: A short die gouge can be found to the right of the lower 3. A short die gouge runs west from the upper second 9. A die scratch runs ESE from the right side of the R in LIBERTY. A die crack runs SSE from the center of the R in TRUST. Obverse: A die gouge runs NNW from the upper I of IN. Several die scratches run SSW from the underside of the chin towards the E in WE. A die crack runs across the base of the bust. Reverse: Two parallel die scratches run ESE from the lower T to the E in UNITED. A die crack runs down the eagle’s right wing.
