Description

A close spread to the north shows on IGWT.Die Markers: Obverse: A die scratch runs west from the upper left of the 3 in the date. A die scratch runs ESE from the lower right of the vertical bar of the L in LIBERTY to the right tip of the L. A die scratch runs SE from the lower right of the B in LIBERTY. Reverse: A die scratch runs through the upper TAT in STATES. A die scratch runs from the lower S in PLURIBUS to the eagle’s upper left wing. Die cracks run down both wings.Submitted By: John A. A die scratch runs WNW from the top left of the T in LIBERTY to the rim. A die scratch runs WNW/ESE between the bottoms of the R and T in LIBERTY. A W/E die crack runs across the top of the forehead into the hair. A short die crack can be found in the hair just above the forehead. Reverse: A die crack runs east through the upper RIBUS in PLURIBUS and down the eagle’s left wing to the lower right of the second A in AMERICA. A die crack runs from the E in EPU down through the eagle’s right wing. A die crack across the lower leaves and branches. A short die crack runs east from the back of the eagle’s head.
