Obverse III2 1 - Die wear lines at periphery with unusual diagonal erosion band between 18. DPIS - ;Emission Sequence :Obverse: :Reverse: Comments: # There is an example known without the erosion band 18, but remember TDITD. # UPDATE Jan/15: I just came across another VEDS of the 1887-P VAM-1K without the erosion band at 18, everything matches, die scratches at liberty, date position, rev die gouge at wing-neck gap, etc, I believe these early birds are rare and very hard to find.
