=1884-O VAM-23 Far Date, Doubled 1-4= Discovered by Oscar Simpson, April 1977. 23 III2 9 - C3a (Doubled 1-4) (181) Obverse III2 9 - 1 and 4 doubled on very top. Date set further right than normal. Oval medium O mint mark. DPIS - ;Emission Sequence :Obverse: :Reverse: Comments: # My example is gifted with some really flashy deep mirrors and a good clash but no letter transfer. Brent F. # 1884-O VAM-23, 1884-O VAM-23A, & 1884-O VAM-23B are all the exact same pair of dies.
