Description
1884-O VAM-6 O/O Left and Down Discovered by Sylvia Johnson, April 1966. This coin is a Top 100 Morgan VAM. 6 III2 4 C3c (O/O Left and Down) (181) Obverse III2 4 - Date set further right than normal. Reverse C3c - II O mint mark repunched with original showing on left side of opening, a spike below the O and line outside the lower left. DPIS - ;Emission Sequence :Obverse: :Reverse: Comments: # The [[1884-O VAM-6 has a strongly repunched mint mark where the underlying O can be seen to the left & slightly lower than the bold O. The center space also has a curved shape from the other mint mark.
