1879-O VAM-29 Tripled/Doubled Stars, Doubled 187, Motto, Cap Top, Left Reverse Discovered by Jym Braun, February 1999. Revised 2021 by demetri 29 III2 21 · C3a (Tripled/Doubled Stars, Doubled 187, Motto, Cap Top, Left Reverse) ( ? ) Obverse III2 21 – Tripled right stars, doubled left stars, tops of RIBUS towards rim, doubled 187 with 1 below upper crossbar, 8 at lower left outside of upper loop and 7 slightly below crossbar. Slightly doubled Phrygian cap top. Die marker- Die polishing lines in RTY of LIBERTY. Reverse C3a – Same hub doubling as in 1879-O VAM 30 C3i but different die with II O mint mark centered. Die marker - Long fine vertical die polishing line on second upper tail feather from left side. Emission Sequence Obverse: Reverse: Comments: LVA 2021 Revision Letter.
