Revised August 2009 by VAMfinder This coin is a Hit List 40 and a Super CD, This is a '''Top 30''' 1878-S Die Variety. '''17A'''(revised) '''II 13 • B2d (Doubled D, Denticle Impressions) (184) ''' '''Obverse II 13–''' 7 has raised slanted dash at very bottom. Shallow raised dots at left inside of lower loop of both 8's. Point of fourth right star completely missing. Late die state with most denticle impressions polished and worn away. '''Reverse B2d–''' Slightly raised denticle impressions thru OLL in DOLLAR, below OL and four slanted impressions below left tail feathers. Late die state with denticle impressions at UN & STAT weak from die wear.
