This group holds pieces made alongside or after Hawaii's coinage: the 1881 nickel five-cent pattern struck in Paris and its later copies, the silver eighth dollar and the copper proof patterns that the Philadelphia Mint struck in 1883, impressions and fantasy pieces made about 1900 from the 1883 hubs, and pieces of the 1890s recorded as patterns that relate to Reginald Huth's private medals.
