Classic Head Half Cents 1809-1836

About This Series

John Reich's Classic Head design on the half cent, featuring Liberty wearing a fillet inscribed LIBERTY. The series includes gaps in production (1812, 1813, 1816-1824) reflecting inconsistent demand for the denomination. Later dates from 1831-1836 were struck in smaller proof-only quantities. The 1811 is a recognized rarity in the series.
