Description
2025 WDDR-001 is a doubled die reverse on the 2025 Lincoln Shield cent, cataloged by the Wexler team. The JFM initials show moderate doubling. Obverse markers: a minute gouge (dot) just under the zero of the date on its left side, and a small dot well below that same side; many tiny dots in the field below IN; a vertical crack in the hair below WE; a dot left of the R in TRUST, near its top; and a die flow line running to the rim from the NE edge of that R. Reverse markers: a pair of dots by the LB initials, one SW of them and one east; a pair of gouges under the N and I of UNITED; a tiny gouge at the rim over the first T in STATES; a pair of gouges NE and SE of the last A in AMERICA; and two chips on the shield's upper left edge. Mark Watchorn submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
