Description
A doubled ear shows to the southwest of the lower earlobe. Die Markers: Obverse: A series of light vertical die scratches show in the field to the right of Lincoln’s mouth and chin. Two light diagonal die scratches show to the right of the upper L in LIBERTY. A series of light parallel die scratches run through and below the UST in TRUST. Reverse: A large die chip shows on the upper left edge of the shield above P in PLURIBUS. A die crack shows below the opening on the lower portion of the O in ONE. Submitted By: James M. A die gouge (dot) shows to the southeast of the O in ONE. A vertical die gouge shows at the rim, southeast of lower tip of the shield.
