2015 (P) Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge Quarter - Doubled Die Reverse WDDR-020

Description

2015-P DE WDDR-020 is a doubled die reverse on the 2015-P Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge quarter (Delaware) in the America the Beautiful series, cataloged by the Wexler team. A doubled grass blade shows over the right end of the upper strip of grass, in the gap separating the great egret from the great blue heron. Obverse markers: a small gouge left of the lower part of the I in IN, and small die chips on the designer's initials. On the reverse, die chips sit on the beak's back, on the rear of the head, and under the great blue heron's eye. Stephen Young submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
