2015 (P) Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge Quarter - Doubled Die Reverse WDDR-004

Description

2015-P DE WDDR-004 is a doubled die reverse on the 2015-P Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge quarter (Delaware) in the America the Beautiful series, cataloged by the Wexler team. The doubling takes the form of an extra grass blade on the right side of the middle strip of grass, in the gap separating the great egret from the great blue heron. Obverse markers: a scratch heading southeast from a point over the right side of IN's N; a scratch linking the right side of GOD's D with the top left corner of TRUST's second T; and a die chip left of the top of TRUST's R. On the reverse there is feeder finger damage under the lowest strip of grass. Stephen Young submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
