2015 (P) Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge Quarter - Doubled Die Reverse WDDR-019

Description

2015-P DE WDDR-019 is a doubled die reverse on the 2015-P Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge quarter (Delaware) in the America the Beautiful series, cataloged by the Wexler team. The doubling takes the form of extra grass blades on the right side of the middle strip of grass, in the gap separating the great egret from the great blue heron. On the obverse, a small gouge lies close to the rim over UNITED's N. On the reverse, die chips lie under the heron's eye, and a gouge sits north of the rear of its beak. Stephen Young submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
