2015 (P) Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge Quarter - Doubled Die Reverse WDDR-012

Description

2015-P DE WDDR-012 is a doubled die reverse on the 2015-P Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge quarter (Delaware) in the America the Beautiful series, cataloged by the Wexler team. The doubling takes the form of extra grass blades on the middle strip of grass at its upper right side, in the gap separating the great egret from the great blue heron, and on the upper strip at its upper right end as well. On the obverse, a small gouge lies inside the lower part of LIBERTY's B, and a small die chip sits inside the J of the designer's initials. On the reverse, a die chip sits under the great blue heron's eye. John A. Wexler submitted the variety. CONECA lists it as 1-R-VIII.
