Description
Doubling shows as extra blades of grass above the left end of the center grass strip between the great egret and the great blue heron. Die Markers: Obverse: A light die crack runs across the base of the bust. A die chip can be found above the F in the designer’s initials JF. Reverse: A die chip can be found below the great blue heron’s eye. A die crack runs NNW/SSE down the back of the great blue heron’s head and upper neck. A die chip can be found on the feathers well to the left of the first U in UNUM. A light die crack runs from the first U in UNUM to the lower feathers of the great blue heron.
