2015 (P) Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge Quarter - Doubled Die Reverse WDDR-007

Description

2015-P DE WDDR-007 is a doubled die reverse on the 2015-P Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge quarter (Delaware) in the America the Beautiful series, cataloged by the Wexler team. The doubling takes the form of extra grass blades over the right end of the upper strip of grass, in the gap separating the great egret from the great blue heron. Wexler notes no significant obverse markers. Reverse markers: a gouge (dot) west of UNUM's N, to the right of the great blue heron's lower back; a die chip under the heron's eye; and a NNW/SSE crack follows the rear of the great blue heron's head and its upper neck. John A. Wexler submitted the variety. VarietyVista lists it as VDDR-015.
