2015 (P) Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge Quarter - Doubled Die Reverse WDDR-006

Description

2015-P DE WDDR-006 is a doubled die reverse on the 2015-P Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge quarter (Delaware) in the America the Beautiful series, cataloged by the Wexler team. The doubling takes the form of an extra grass blade under the right side of the upper strip of grass, in the gap separating the great egret from the great blue heron. On the obverse, a light crack crosses the bust's base. On the reverse, a die chip sits under the great blue heron's eye, and a NNW/SSE crack follows the rear of the great blue heron's head and its upper neck. John A. Wexler submitted the variety. CONECA lists it as 6-R-VIII.
