Description
2013 WDDO-009 is a doubled die obverse on the 2013 Lincoln Shield cent, cataloged by the Wexler team. LIBERTY shows extra thickness, best seen on the vertical bars of its letters and growing stronger from left to right; the date shows light extra thickness. Wexler notes no obverse markers. On the reverse, north of the T in CENT, on its right side, a gouge touches the top of the banner. Joseph Koelling submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
