Description
2013 WDDO-005 is a doubled die obverse on the 2013 Lincoln Shield cent, cataloged by the Wexler team. The letters of LIBERTY show strong extra thickness and the date light extra thickness. On the obverse, there is die pitting to the right of WE's E, at its bottom. On the reverse, a crack follows the top of the shield's left side; a chip sits at the shield's top above the first U of PLURIBUS; and a gouge (dot) lies in the field south of the O in OF, right of the shield's top tip. Brian Allen submitted the variety. Its Coppercoins number is 2013P-1DO-005.
