Description

2013-P MD WDDR-010 is a doubled die reverse on the 2013-P Fort McHenry National Monument and Historic Shrine quarter (Maryland) in the America the Beautiful series, cataloged by the Wexler team. A strong southward spread shows on the right roof. Obverse markers: a small gouge between DOLLAR's D and O; a gouge touching the lower left of DOLLAR's first L; one to the right of the top of DOLLAR's last L; one touching the upper left of UNITED's U; and one over UNITED's E. The reverse has a gouge just right of the lower burst's first SE-pointing firework spray, and a long gouge above the doubled roof. George W. Powell, Jr. submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references. Wexler notes this is a replacement listing: the first WDDR-010 turned out to be die deterioration doubling.
