2013 (P) Fort McHenry National Monument and Historic Shrine Quarter - Doubled Die Reverse WDDR-005

Description

2013-P MD WDDR-005 is a doubled die reverse on the 2013-P Fort McHenry National Monument and Historic Shrine quarter (Maryland) in the America the Beautiful series, cataloged by the Wexler team. The doubling is spread to the south, on the base of the arch, the bottoms of the three windows over it, and along the roofline. The lower right spray of the bottom firework burst shows slight doubling as well. Wexler notes no significant markers on either side. Marilyn Keeney and Daniel Ksycki submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references. Wexler includes it in its "Best Of" varieties.
