Description

2013-P MD WDDR-001 is a doubled die reverse on the 2013-P Fort McHenry National Monument and Historic Shrine quarter (Maryland) in the America the Beautiful series, cataloged by the Wexler team. The doubling is spread to the west across the lower half of the lowest firework spray, and the three small windows over the arch show it on their left sides. Obverse markers: die pitting within UNITED's D; a pair of gouges beneath and between TRUST's T and R; a gouge under the right side of TRUST's U; and a gouge over DOLLAR's A. Wexler notes no significant reverse markers. Edward Mill submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references. Wexler includes it in its "Best Of" varieties.
