2013 Doubled Die Reverse WDDR-006
ErrorDescription
Doubling shows on the left side of the wall to the left of the right window, the roof north of that window, the left side of the bottom stripe of the flag, the right and bottom sides of the doorway, and very slightly on the lower right firework spray. Die Markers: Obverse Stage A: Small die gouge right of the top of the L in LIBERTY. Die gouge between the O and L in DOLLAR. Die gouge touches the inner right side of the D in UNITED. Small die gouge right of the F in OF. Obverse Stage B: Stage A gouge inside D abraded away. All other Stage A markers still present. Die gouge left of the bottom of the R in QUARTER. Large die gouge left of the lips. Die gouge below the T in LIBERTY. Die gouge below the E in WE. Obverse Stage C: Stage B gouge left of the R weak but still present. All other Stage B markers abraded away. Die gouge above the left side of the R in LIBERTY. Die gouge between the A and T in STATES. A second die gouges between the lower A and R in DOLLAR. Reverse Stage A: Thin E/W die scratches throughout the central reverse. Die gouge at the tip of the firework spray pointing to the F in FORT. Reverse Stage B: Stage A die markers weaker but still present. Die gouge above the far right roof at the extent of the doubling. Reverse Stage C: Stage B gouge at spray tip likely abraded away. All other Stage B die markers likely weaker but still present. Die gouge above the firework spray pointing to the HE in McHENRY.
