Description

The 2012P-5DER-005T Trail Die Reverse is a trail die reverse variety of the United States nickel. This variety was discovered on the 2012 (P) Jefferson Nickel, part of the Jefferson Nickels Return to Monticello 2006 to Date series. Die markers: Stage “C“, obverse is LDS – a small die dot is seen under the mintmark. Reverse is LDS – a die crack is seen from the right base of Monticello to the rim. Another die crack is seen on the left edge of the building and in the field. This die was found by Tanaka (Mikee) Davis.
