2010 (P) Roosevelt Dime - P-10DEO-001T Trail Die Obverse

Description

2010P-10DEO-001T is a 2010 Philadelphia Roosevelt dime obverse whose trails sit on the motto. Its TrailDies number reads 2010P (date and mint), 10 (dime), DEO (obverse design extension), 001 (file), T (trails). Light lines rise from the tops of the letters of IN GOD WE TRUST, angled just left of straight up at 350°. Jean Lee found the die. At the middle die state described, a diagonal scratch crosses the L of LIBERTY, and the reverse has damage between the olive branch and the torch. Most specialists, TrailDies included, attribute trails to rotary polishing of the die; others have suggested movement of the die against the hub.
