Description

Trail lines are seen on the RICA of AMERICA, the lower left corner of the N and E of ONE and the lower left corner of the N and T of CENT. Also seen are trail lines from both sets of designers’ initials, the lower points of the shield and the motto EPU. The offset direction is 190 degrees.

• Reverse is EMDS – none noted.
• Stage “B“, obverse is LMDS – a die crack is seen from Lincoln’s ear to a point in the field just below the W of WE.
• Reverse is LMDS – a small die dot is seen between the T and A of STATES.
