Description
Light trails run from the F of OF and the ME of AMERICA on 2010P-1DER-003T, pointing at 330°, north-northwest. The number is a 2010 Philadelphia cent (2010P, 1) with a reverse design extension (DER), file 003, trail type T. TrailDies lists two die states. Its early coin has no markers at all; by the early middle stage a die dot appears in the field above the E of LIBERTY, and on the reverse a crack with a chip shows in the shield's left corner above the E of EPU, with a small gouge beside the middle arm of that E. The entry names no finder. Trails are generally attributed to polishing of the die with a rotary tool, though some trace them to the die moving against the hub.
