Description
The 2010P-1DER-001T Trail Die Reverse is a trail die reverse variety of the United States cent. This variety was discovered on the 2010 (P) Lincoln Shield Cent, part of the Lincoln Shield Cents 2010 to Date series. Die markers: Stage “B “, obverse is MDS – the obverse is a doubled die. Notching can be seen on the top left corners of the letters RTY of LIBERTY. Extra thickness is seen on the left arm of the Y and the vertical components of the letters in LIBERTY. A small die gouge is seen under the I of LIBERTY. A die crack is seen on the backside of Lincoln’s head, terminating in a die chip under the E of WE. Reverse is MDS – A small die chip is located on the left side of the O in ONE. A small die gouge is located under the O in OF. This die is a doubled die obverse listed as WDDO-001 and 2010P-1DO-001 This die was found by David Mulberry of Florida.
