Description
2010P-1DEO-009T has trails from WE's E, TRUST's first T and part of Lincoln's hair, all running east at 090°, toward the right edge. TrailDies mates this obverse with a reverse trail die, 2010P-1DER-010T. The number stands for 2010, Philadelphia, one cent, obverse design extension (DEO), file 009, trails (T). No obverse markers are given for the middle-die-state coin; its reverse has a chip on the shield's upper left rim, a scratch across UNITED's E and a small gouge in its T. Jason Dick found the pair. Rotary polishing of the die is how trails are generally explained; some think instead that the die moved against the hub.
