Description
Trails on 2010P-1DEO-008T sit on the upper left corners of BERTY in LIBERTY and run at 330°, north-northwest, up and to the left. As TrailDies writes the number, 2010P is the date and Philadelphia mint, 1 the one-cent piece, DEO the obverse design extension, 008 the file and T the trails. It is a late-die-state coin. Two small chips lie in Lincoln's head below the W of WE, and on the reverse a crack runs up from the middle of the shield's top edge, through the E of STATES, to the rim. Jason Dick found the die. Trails are commonly traced to polishing of the die with a rotary tool, though some trace them to the die moving against the hub.

- Stage “C “, obverse is LDS – there are two small die chips in Lincoln’s head under the W of WE
- Reverse is LDS – a die crack is seen from the top middle of the shield, through the E of STATES and onto the rim.
