Description
2010-D WDDO-001 is a doubled die obverse on the 2010-D Lincoln Shield cent, cataloged by the Wexler team. LIBERTY shows extra thickness, with the widest spread on the upright strokes of the T and Y and on the Y's upper left arm. On the obverse, a gouge sits between the I and N of IN at their tops, and a small gouge (dot) lies over the E of LIBERTY on its left side. On the reverse, a small gouge (dot) is left of the U in UNITED. Noel Okay submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
